Contrary to popular myth, the best deals are usually obtained from dealers. It is a question of understanding them, finding their weaknesses and striking when they are vulnerable. Remember, most dealers are hanging from a fragile twig at the end of a tenuous line of credit. They have no self-discipline. They might maintain an arrogant veneer, as if they need you like a hole in the head, but underneath, they know they are overstocked and desperate.

WATCHLOVER brings you a totally new watchloving experience – a 3-WEEK HAGGLING COURSE which will begin with “Secrets that Watch Dealers Don’t Want You to Know” and “How to Buy from Desperate Grieving Widows Without Pity or Remorse”.

Week 2 will focus on the differences between offensive and defensive haggling, and will offer an optional seminar on retrospective haggling.

Week 3 will include a practical exam in the field, an open-question phone conference with your personal tutor, and a Certificate of Graduation.

A Haggler’s Alumni web page will be ready for the first cycle of graduates.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

The first lesson, and the most valuable of all, is free. Here it is:

KNOWLEDGE IS MONEY.

The rest of the course will cost $180.

THANK YOU. Now, here is another piece of gratuitous advice. An essential element of the Art of Haggling is KNOWING WHEN TO STOP. This applies not only to haggling, but to all aspects of the watch game. For those of you who are unable to learn this lesson due to personality disorders, or who have fallen off the wagon, we are proud to offer our 12-STEP PROGRAM.
